Public Speaking Presentations

Public speaking skills are key in the technology field. My public speaking presentations include:

Digital Advertising Media For Therabeat Incorporated

Basic computer experience in areas such as graphic design has prepared me to work with different types of technology. During a community service experience, I created multiple digital media products for Therabeat Incorporated, including:

  • A section of Therabeat's website displaying their business locations in Acworth, GeorgiaCanton, Georgia; and Cumming, Georgia (Click linked text to view sites).

  • Some pages on Therabeat's website discussing their different Harmony Kids classes and their Beats With Peeps program, as well as a page displaying the policies for these services (Click linked text to view sites).

  • A brochure advertising the various Kindermusik classes Therabeat offers (See right).

Great Literary Works

In the technology field, knowing how to communicate scientific discoveries is an important asset. The following works display my fantastic writing abilities:

  • An article published in FOCUS' (a non-profit) newsletter discussing how wearable technology can help those with varying abilities (see left).

  • A laws of life essay that earned a 99% discussing how my Mom's heart attack helped me grow into a more independent person. Click here to read my essay.

  • A summer reading essay that earned a 100% analyzing the literary elements present in Sara Gruen's Water For ElephantsClick here to read my essay.

  • A science fair project exploring the basics of computer science using the programming language JavaScript. Click here to read my thesis.

Social Media Campaigns

Knowing how to reach a massive audience through the internet is a valuable skill to have in the technology field. I have recently launched a campaign that brings attention to how people and businesses relate to people who have varying abilities. While practicing independent living skills in public, my therapist and I survey accessibility and public perception of people with varying abilities. I post our findings on a Facebook page in order to make a positive change in the world. Through this campaign, I have learned skills such as website management and video editing. Click here to view our Facebook page or watch the video on the right to learn more.
